Re: Song Sergeant takes a looooong time to scan library

I suspect that the cause for this has been addressed for the next release. Please contact LairWare support to request a non-App Store license in order to try out the latest prerelease version to see this is the case for you. BTW you will always get a quick response (as opposed to a week later like t...

All software downloaded from Apple's App Store runs in a 'sandbox' which prevents it from seeing or interacting with anything outside of that sandbox. In Song Sergeant's case, express permission must be given to access the location(s) containing your music library so that it can do what it needs to ...

Re: PC VGA setting is corrupted, any fixes? :-)

I think that this tileset came from a Japanese port of Ultima III, and I believe that its colors really are this garish normally.

When Song Sergeant crashes, at the bottom of the “Song Sergeant.exe has stopped working” window there should be a “View problem details” button. There will be “...

Re: Update ?

There is an answer to this question in this topic.

If this is Mojo Goat, at the time it was looking like our support email was working fine and that the problem was on the sending server's end.

Re: Go back to standard Sosaria after trying Kreate?

From the main menu's "Organize a Party" screen, you'll need to disperse the party and then re-form it. You'll have a fresh, new, pristine Sosaria.

Re: quick questions:

1) Apple II mono green is a theme in Ultima III 2.0. At any rate, the latest version should be able to run on your system, so please send in a crash report for latest and maybe we can fix it.

2) I think Ultima IV was the first Ultima in which you could flee from battles.

Song Sergeant 1.6.2 released

Song Sergeant 1.6.2 has been released, which copes with two issues arising from a recent release of iTunes: 1) iTunes 12.2 allows the user to turn off the sharing of XML data with 3rd party programs. Indeed, new libraries default to not sharing this data. Song Sergeant 1.6.2 identifies the situation...

Re: Ultima 2 Double HiRes Apple II version?

Sorry I didn't notice this sooner!

This is indeed something I did when I was a kid, and it was never distributed to anyone but my friends. I guess it finally got out into the wild!

I don't remember patching anything other than graphics and text display.

PixelToy 3.0.0 now available

While there aren't any dramatic feature differences between 2.8 and 3.0, here's a bit of useless information about what had to be done behind the scenes to get it working on a modern Mac: • Compiled for Intel processors instead of PowerPC. Big-endian -> Little-endian issues galore. • Carbon event ti...
