Re: File Path

Most other methods of sorting for duplicates aren't particularly feasible because the groups must remain together. Song Sergeant always keeps the duplicates sorted by Artist for this reason.

I'm afraid that there's no way to automatically prefer files that are on a particular volume.

Re: Save Game Location

The location has not changed -- you'll still find com.lairware.ultima3.roster in (home)/Library/Preferences/. DropBox apparently handles Mac resource forks properly now, so it should not be a problem.

Re: Problem to fing album Art

Unfortunately, MPFreaker cannot use Google to find album artwork. Other general image search APIs which were available have all been shut down or are prohibitively expensive. That said, MPFreaker is supposed to be able to also find artwork through Wikipedia or Discogs.com. It looks like there have b...

Re: Reference pdf does not open in game

Hello Mjolnin, I just tried downloading a fresh copy of Ultima III and tried it out without any problems. Before trying that, do the other 3 references work?

Re: regular error message when merging - missing file error

Regarding crashes: Please always submit crash logs, we do look at them. In general we have found that 1.3 is much more stable than 1.2 on most people's systems, but we know that there are always exceptions. Regarding error messages: In general, 1.3 is better at recognizing problems and reporting th...

Re: Song Sergent doesn't affect iTunes

I can think of one thing to try, though it is not a simple solution either. I would configure iTunes's import settings (in general preferences) to use a different format than the existing problematic songs but at a similar or slightly higher quality level, then select the songs and ask iTunes to con...

Re: Song Sergent doesn't affect iTunes

This is one I hadn't heard of before!

I imagine that there is no way to resolve this outside of iTunes itself. I would suggest trying out this advice to hopefully get iTunes to start behaving.

How to rebuild your iTunes Library

iTunes has been around for a long time and has some odd idiosyncrasies, so it's not surprising that sometimes one's iTunes library needs a serious "teardown and rebuild" in order to resolve problems encountered while using iTunes or with 3rd party software that works with it. If your library is many...

Re: Song Sergent doesn't affect iTunes

My guess is that Song Sergeant is not looking at the right place for your actual music library. Have a look at the "Library" section of Song Sergeant's preferences and ensure that it is referring to the correct location for your music library (and media location). Another thing to try would be to go...

Re: # and Track Columns In Edit Mode?

MPFreaker's "#" column is not editable and is purely to allow you to return to "natural" sort order when working within a playlist. The order of tracks in a playlist cannot be affected from MPFreaker, and must be reordered within iTunes. The Track column, on the other hand, should be completed edita...

RickyX contacted us through email also where we tried to get him to try the beta version to see if the problem still exists for the next release, but we have not heard back from him. The beta version is available here:

Re: *Spoilers* Golden Pick?

The Golden Pick is something unique to the Nintendo version of Ultima III. Are you saying that you've went to Dawn in the LairWare version of Ultima III and can't find the pick (because it doesn't exist), or that you went to where Dawn should be and can't find Dawn itself?
