Is there any way to search a playlist with MPF for the carriage return character embedded in the lyrics ?
On the iPhone, some song's lyrics run into each other like a long run-on sentence with no spaces between the lines of the song, like this:
Code: Select all
First line from the songThis is the start of the second line of the songAnd this is the start of the third lineThe forth line is here
I am not sure if I need to search for the LF character or the CR character.
I would like to be able to create a list of these songs so I can properly format them.
Can anybody help?

Does anybody even know WTF I am asking? 330 reads and no replies.
I want to scan my iTunes library for the Carriage Return character (CR) or (LF) Line Feed special character, so I can fix the problem lyrics in my library.

I suspect that the embedded lyrics have neither linefeeds nor carriage returns, and look the way they do because that's how it ended up on a web page somewhere. Best to just replace the lyrics entirely.
