Weapon Strength Values

Just wondering if there's a scale to base weapon strength upon. For example is a dagger's attack valued at a 2 as opposed to a 2H sword attack value of a 7 ??? I understand strength plays a role in what damage is inflicted during an attack, just wondering how much the weapon figures into the equation and what the values for each type of weapon (from daggers to exotics) are.

It is just a straight linear scale. Here's the minimum-maximum damage a weapon causes by itself:

Code: Select all

Hand 4-4
Dagger 4-7
Mace 4-10
Sling 4-13
Axe 4-16
Bow 4-19
Sword 4-22
2-H-Swd 4-25
+2 Axe 4-28
+2 Bow 4-31
+2 Swd 4-34
Gloves 4-37
+4 Axe 4-40
+4 Bow 4-43
+4 Swd 4-46
Exotic 4-49
... but the character's strength makes a big difference. You add 1 1/2 times the player's strength to the damage caused. For example, a character with 20 strength wielding a 2 handed sword causes 34-55 points damage per hit, whereas one with 5 strength would only cause 11-32 damage.
