After about two months of working fine, the server had a hiccup on Sunday. If this happened to you yesterday, please go ahead and follow the above delete-prefs instructions one more time. It should finally work now.

Is your Server crashed again? I bought the program today and i cant register! i trashed the Song Sergeant preferences and copy and pasted the user name and key more than 20 times!

I purchased Song Sergeant and am attempting to register, but cannot register the program. It keeps saying it cannot find host. Please help.

The error "Cannot find host" means that there's a network problem either on your end or on LairWare's end. I can see other people successfully activating Song Sergeant via our update server throughout the day today. Is it possible that you are somehow set up to block connections to our update server (lwupdate.dyndns.org)?

Registration Key Doesn't Work For Me As Well

I have read this forum, and tried all of the suggestions multiple times. Key still doesn't work. Looks like you have a good product, but based on this forum topic this problem has been going on for a long time. Way too long in my opinion. You need to fix this or it will kill your reputation and thus your business.
I buy a lot of utility software for a wide variety of reasons, and this is the first time I have ever had this issue. I was reluctant to pay $20 for this software. Duppin is $15. The only reason I did was because I have a large library and wanted the orphan, inconsistent, and missing capabilities.
When I buy something I want it to work immediately. Its Saturday, and I have the time now. If I don't get the key quickly, who knows when I will have time to get back to this. Having your key code work should be a no brainer!!!

Activation difficulties with Song Sergeant occur very rarely, but I definitely understand that this is of little or no consolation to anyone who has experienced it.
We have been in the process of completely rewriting our back-end server system, but unfortunately it is taking much longer than anticipated. Right now, all we can do is apologize when problems arise until the new system is in place.

Purchased SongSergeant via Kagi, received confirmation email and Key Code but cannot activate. Deleted plist still no joy. What now?

In response to the email, this has solved my issue and I have been able to activate Song Sergeant.
