received user name + key code
copy and pasted both

If this happens to anyone else, you can resolve it quickly by trashing Song Sergeant's preferences while it's not running. Here's where you can find the preferences file:
(home directory) / Library / Preferences / com.lairware.songsergeant.plist
Launch Song Sergeant and it should then accept your information.

Same thing happened to me. Tried removing preference file as suggested but it didn't work

Our ISP has been having delay problems over the last 24 hours, which means that Key Codes haven't been valid immediately as they are supposed to be.
They're working on it, but in the meantime if you wait another hour and try again (including trashing your preferences) you are likely to have success.
Sorry about this! So far it has only affected a few people, but that's of little consolation if you're one of them.

I have the same problem and its been about 24 hours and nothing works.
It really should work.

Deleting the preferences file really will work. If it has been a full 24 hours since you unsuccessfully tried to enter your registration details, you don't even need to delete the preferences file.
ehochart, it will be 24 hours for you in about 5.5 hours. You'll need to delete the preferences file described above in order to re-enter your key code successfully before then.

I also just purchase and can not enter the user name and key code provided to me. You have got to get this figured out quickly! It is unreasonable to expect users to wait 24 hours to register and get good reviews.

I am a very happy customer of LairWare and I have several people using especially MPFreaker, one has really got support way beyond what you expect.

I would be annoyed too, if my software purchase wasn't accepting my key right away.
ehochart, I can't see any reason why Song Sergeant would not have accepted your code at any point in the last 29 hours, provided that you 1) deleted your preferences file as indicated above and 2) you copy/paste your User Name and Key Code exactly as given in the e-mail. I tried it here and your key worked fine for me.

I have cleared the preferences and retried with the user name and key directly cut and pasted from the eMail. It is still not working. Do I need to wait until tomorrow as well?

Invalid key code error

I trashed the Song Sergeant preferences and copy and pasted the user name and key about 10+x. I even trashed Song Sergeant and redownloaded it. No luck, please help.
