Time it takes to do a search for a song info and or artwork

Post by macibookg3 » Fri Jul 28, 2006 12:08 am

I have "Allow partial Matches" and "Deep search" checked. How long should it take to try to find the info and or Artwork and or Lyrics. also if it did not find any items for the song will it skip it and go on. It dose skip some of the songs and on some it looks like it gets stuck in the search.

Turning on "Allow partial matches" and "Deep search" will each make MPFreaker take longer to find song info. Searching for an album name (because either your song has no album name defined, or you have Overwrite enabled) also will take much longer than if your song already has an album name.

If MPFreaker can't find anything for a song, it will continue to the next song. MPFreaker shouldn't get "stuck", though ... this would seem to indicate a bug. If this seems to happen to you consistently on a particular song, please contact support@lairware.com. We do desperately want to ensure that MPFreaker never gets stuck!
