Has this spell ALWAYS been able to open a chest even while the party is in combat (that is, since the original U3)? While standing on a chest on the overland map, I was attacked and accidentally cast this spell by mistake, opening the chest on the occupied tile. It makes little difference to gamepla...

Strangeness with Horses

Noticed that if you use a Powder before attacked by horses in Ambrosia (in order to snatch one as a mount), some/all of the time-stopped horses' "frozen" state is a "grass" tile. This threw me off, as I thought I'd killed them, only to be attacked by a new group a few turns later!

I noticed the greeter in Fawn appears to be a Wizard, but if you (L)ook at him, it says he's a Thief! This is confirmed if you (A)ttack him, too :lol:

Mittar uses "Immolate.wav", but the thunder sound I think you're looking for is "BigDeath.wav". Because of necessity when updating Ultima to run natively on OS X, all of the sound effects had to be pulled out into wavs. That means that if you can hear it when playing, it's in the Sounds (or Music) ...

I'm in the process of replacing the default U3 sounds with those from U4 (yeah, I'm that anal! :p ), and I can't seem to find the thundering sound used for the WIzard 'Mittar' spell. Was it not pulled out with the other sounds into .wav format? On the subject, since I haven't replaced them all yet, ...
