Re: Full screen mode?

You need to use the (non-standard) Full Screen command in the Options menu, or its keyboard shortcut cmd-F. I imagine that the next version will do the right thing when you click the standard green window button.

A number of issues relating to this have been fixed recently, but are not yet available in the regular releases. Please try out the current pre-release beta and let us know how it works for you!

Re: blocked by discogs because of MPFreaker

The Discogs.com reply you received isn't quite correct. When support for Discogs.com was added to MPFreaker, it was with their (then-current) JSON API, fully respecting their terms of use and usage limitations. MPFreaker has never "scraped" from Discogs.com.

Re: Support for (Original Mix) duplicates

By default, Song Sergeant would not consider those two tracks as possible duplicates because their names differ too greatly. That said, you can easily adjust the Duplicates area of Song Sergeant's preferences to not consider track titles and to perhaps be more discerning about track duration (e.g. l...

Re: deleted file are no longer going to trash on my Mac

Paul, 1.4 and later have more verbose internal logging of information relating to this issue (because of your same question in September). In 1.4, please perform a small test in which you encounter this problem, then send the resulting Song Sergeant log file to songsergeant@lairware.com. The log fil...

Re: Retaining original "date added" when data is merged

I'm afraid that while Song Sergeant displays this information, it currently cannot "automark" based upon the file (audio data) with the earliest Date Added. One would therefore need to go through the duplicates list and manually ensure that the oldest Added audio data is ticked for each set of dupli...

Re: Inconsistent song renaming broken under iTunes 11

I should note that this has been resolved via email. In Song Sergeant's "Inconsistent" renaming process, it isn't able to rename tracks that are only available on iCloud (via "iTunes Match") and are not present on a normal file system (local or file server, for example). This will be resolved for th...
