iTunes script for MPFreaker

Post by beastie » Fri Mar 23, 2007 12:53 pm

This AppleScript enables you to select any number of tracks in iTunes and then select "Fill In With MPFreaker" from iTunes' script icon menu. MPFreaker will quietly begin adding what information, artwork, and lyrics it can find to those songs in the background.

This script was written by Matt Gough. Detailed description and installation instructions are in the enclosed Read Me file.

This script had been working great until iTunes 10. I now get the following alert:

"This script requires iTunes version: 4.0.0. Current version of iTunes: 10.1"

Any chance of the script being updated?

Thanks!

Script fixed

The method the script was using to compare iTunes versions was doomed to fail when iTunes hit 10. I've removed the version check (who is running iTunes 3 or earlier now?) and put it back up at the same location.
