Missing artwork for individual songs

I've been using MPFreaker since its earliest versions. In particular I've used it for adding artwork. In earlier versions of MPFreaker I found that when an album was selected in which some songs had artwork and others didn't the program would automatically add the same artwork to all of the songs. This was very useful since I had a lot of artwork that I scanned myself at higher resolution than available.

I am now in the process of of duplicating my library [over 10,000 songs] (actually making a lossless version for my Apple TV. I was expecting to use MPFreaker to add the artwork to the new songs (which appear to be in the same album as the AAC versions). However, now the program doesn't seem to add artwork from one song in an album to all the other songs.

Is this a change in the function of the program. If not, what could I be doing wrong?. If so is there a way to get around this change or could it be added back (possibly as an option). Again I want to use my artwork not ones searched for by your program (except when there is no artwork).

Also I ust wanted to note that the new program is the best lyric finder that I have seen so far and I've used virtually everyone. It found many lyrics that other program couldn't.

Also would it be possible to sort the list by the presence or absenec of lyrics. This would help in selecting songs that need lyrics for searching.

Thanks,

Alan

MPFreaker does copy artwork amongst an album when possible, but there are three conditions:
  • 1. The track with pre-existing artwork must also be in MPFreaker's list. If you made a playlist comprised of tracks lacking artwork and used that in MPFreaker, it wouldn't know about your other tracks that do have artwork.

    2. The track with pre-existing artwork must have the exact same artist name and album name. Pretty much any variation will make MPFreaker not consider the tracks to be from the same album.

    3. Tracks waiting to be scanned are not candidates for copying out of their artwork if they might lose it later in the scanning process. If you have Artwork Overwrite enabled and have all visible album tracks selected for scanning, the first one will hit the internet for art, then later ones will copy from the first one.

    4. The pre-existing artwork must be larger than MPFreaker's minimum and overwrite artwork sizes. These sizes are set in MPFreaker's preferences.
I'd guess that you are running afoul of #1, since you scanned your own artwork at high quality.
Also would it be possible to sort the list by the presence or absenec of lyrics. This would help in selecting songs that need lyrics for searching.
Certainly, just click the header of the lyrics column and all of the songs with lyrics will be at the top of the list.
