Feature Request: Drag and Drop

Post by sstoy » Fri Aug 07, 2009 10:52 pm

Maybe I am missing something, and maybe there is already a post about this, but I would find it very helpful to have drag and drop functionality, or at LEAST multiple folders able to be scanned. I have thousands of songs in my library, so when mpfreaker loads my entire itunes library it gets overwhelmed. My options are to either load all my songs, or load them only by artist one at a time. Neither of these are ideal. Am I missing something? Thanks

Playlists?

Is there some reason you don't want to use playlists for this purpose?

You can also select a directory as a source, though for an iTunes-managed hierarchy of directories, that's not too useful.

You can also drag song files or folders of them onto the MPFreaker icon, though MPFreaker will always act with its default behavior regardless of what the settings might have been changed to in the Advanced drawer: add anything missing, don't overwrite anything.
