'Lock' in leftmost MPFreaker column

The lock doesn't mean exactly the same thing as the "Locked" checkbox in Finder's "Get Info" window. MPFreaker's lock symbol indicates that, for whatever reason, that song file cannot be modified. This can be caused by a song file being locked, but in your case it is likely to be a permissions issue. In one of these song's "Get Info" windows in Finder, open up the "Ownership & Permissions" section. It is likely to show that you can "read only", which might happen if the songs were added to your system while logged in as a different user.

If this is the case, this may help:

iTunes will happily work with song files such as these, with any changed song information not stored in the song file itself, since iTunes wouldn't have the ability to change the song file. This is a bad thing, and you should sort out your song file permissions ASAP (if this is indeed the problem).
