Armour Protective Values

This was requested a while ago, maybe it was missed:

Can we get a chart of the protective values of the various armour types?

Armour effects

Armour in Ultima III does not lessen the amount of damage you take, it merely makes you harder to hit. Effectively, it comes out like this:

Chance of Being Hit:

50% Skin
47% Cloth
44% Leather
42% Chain
40% Plate
38% +2 Chain
36% +2 Plate
33% Exotic

This chance of being hit applies to any attack by any creature, no matter how high or low level, whether via melee attack or spell.
