fix tags

Post by yuccaplant » Sat Jul 14, 2007 12:03 pm

suppose i want to change this:

very nica song, super group, cool albume

in:

very nice song, super group, cool album

The overwrite feature sort of does this, but it also excludes the fields it has to overwrite from the search criteria, which means it will be probably not be found. I also would like a possibility to review changes before committing them.

thanks,

Pieter

So in your example, both the song title and album name are misspelled. In this case, MPFreaker probably won't be able to do much until you manually correct at least one of them. If you have a lot of songs with misspellings, iEatBrainz is a good way to get your basic tags up to snuff before then using MPFreaker to fill in the other information.

You're not alone.

Thanks for your answer

Some way to undo changes MPFreaker makes would make mee feel a lot safer. Maybe is the undo-way better from a usability perspective than the review-way.
