Song Sergeant stops responding and must be force quit

Post by kschaefer » Wed Feb 24, 2010 8:18 am

I am using Version 1.0.4 (53.1) on a Mac running 10.6.2 with iTunes 9.0.3 installed. Sarg makes it through the scanning but when trying to fix the orphans and missing stops responding. I have tried it 3 times and each time I have to Force Quit it. All music is on the HD. I am trying to repair 25,648 orphans and 25,546 missing songs. Could that be the issue?

Need help.

Thanks,

Karl :(

How to help LairWare fix a hanging problem.

Post by beastie » Wed Feb 24, 2010 11:37 am

This is not a known problem, so we definitely need your help. Here's how to help us analyze and fix a "hanging" issue.

1) While Song Sergeant is hung, launch the Activity Monitor application. It can be found in your Applications / Utilities folder.

2) Open its "Activity Monitor" window by selecting Activity Monitor from the Window menu (or by pressing ⌘1).

3) Find Song Sergeant in the list and select it, then click the "Sample Process" button in the window's toolbar.

4) Copy/paste the contents of the resulting window into an email to songsergeant@lairware.com.

Thanks!
